We’ve got a garden bench in our hall – it’s edwardian and came from a seaside resort. Just as it happens with people, I like furniture that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

I've often thought how beautiful some garden benches are and though about bringing it indoors. Never have though! Love the colour – I think I might put cushions on it too; then it would never be mistaken for undoors furniture. It looks great.
